Association Mishki Runa which in Spanish means (Sweet People, Kind People) is an Agricultural Production association located in the Ecuadorian Amazon in the province of Napo, Tena canton, Misahuallí in the ancestral Kichwa community Unión Venecia that aims to promote fair trade principles, develop sustainable local production while maintaining harmony with Mother Earth.
Our Story
Wayta is a chocolate brand created by cocoa producers association Mishki Runa in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Wayta is an indigenous Kichwa word, which in Spanish translates as “Aromas, Smells, Flavors” that refers to the fragrances from the flora of our biodiverse Amazon jungle, in addition to the fine aroma that our cocoa of origin maintains.
Our mission
Offer artisanal organic agro products in the national and international markets, develop an alternative local economy with social and fair responsibility in the short, medium and long term through our sustainable projects, recognizing the input of our partners and implementing a socially responsible environmental permaculture concept, in addition to creating a culture of local consumption.

To be an association that generates inspiration for society, considering contribution through projects, scientific and cultural knowledge, in addition to the harmony of indigenous people, their traditions, the environment and create the awareness of Ecuadorian heritage regarding to the environmental, cultural and social impact.
